In this chapter, we learn more about the goblins, their leader, and their leader's identity. We also learn that the goyle has already injured the goy, so the two of them must return to Kookylano, where they can help protect the kingdom from the attack of the kinoa parasites. The goy has already attacked sokora, but now that the kingdom is in danger, the two must return. Veila tells us that she needs a place to live, so she and the goblin must go back to Sokora. She says that as she grows stronger inside of him, she will be able to kill the gory. She tells him to remember that they will not be alone, and that he must remember that he will be protected. He tells her that she will grow stronger as he grows inside of her. He asks her to get off him, and she tells him that she came to visit him while he was unconscious. He says that she is using him as a time-share until she is dead or something. She asks him if it would be great if he were to die trying to save the world, or if she would haunt him or turn his feet into hanoses in his dreams. He replies that he would be selfless, but that he cannot take compliments. He also asks her if she is affectionate with goblins. She responds that he is not, and he asks her why she hasn't dealt with the ead master yet.
