It's been a long time since we've seen the Countess, and now she's back in her room. She's so excited to see her niece, who's just returned from her first night out with Balthazar. We're not sure what's going on here, but we're guessing it's because the Countess' parents are having a dinner party. The Countess is all, "I'm not going to do this to make my family happy, because they're just not worth ruining my life over" . But the Countess doesn't seem to be having any of that. She tells the Countess that she'll kill herself if she finds Balthar, and then she tells her that she was just hanging out with the Countess when she found out that she wasn't going to marry him. She also tells her about how much she hates her family, and how she'd never want to marry anyone who didn't like her. The only thing she can think of to do is to go home and tell her family what happened.
