In this chapter, the disguised snotty snootily strolls through the streets of Shanghai. He tells us that he often goes out to eat with friends, but that he likes to stay at home with his sister. He says that he'll check on his sister when he's free, and that he hopes she'll like it as well. He also says that the food at the restaurant is very good, and he hopes that his sister will like it too. He wants to tell his sister that he has a weird taste in food, but he says that she shouldn't worry about it, as long as she doesn't tease him about it. He offers to have one salad and one seafood meal, and says that if she wants to tease him, she can do so. He's used to having his friends tease him with it, so he says he'd rather have them tease him than have them wait for him to come to the washroom. He then tells his sister to hurry up and think of something exotic to eat, and treat it like a chivalrous act. He goes on to say that the restaurant serves only desserts, but the food is good enough for him. He wonders if he should start to have his desserts as his main course, and if he can start to eat steak with black pepper sauce, which he thinks looks like they're going to be together. He decides to go back to his sister's area, where he can hide.
