In this chapter, Bela and the shop girl discuss the books they've bought. Bela asks Bela what her favorite book is, and Bela replies that she hasn't read it yet. The shop girl says that she'll read the book when she remembers to tell how she thinks about it after she's done with it. The two shop girls go off to buy some more stuff, but Bela worries that they'll run out of things to buy before they're done with their shopping. She worries that if they have kids, they won't be able to afford the things they want to buy.
