It's been a while since the last time we saw Ming, and now she's back in her hiding place. She's not sure who gave her the demon wine, but she can't figure out how anyone could have given her such a bad drink. She wonders if it was a mistake on Ming's part to give her the wine, and she wonders why Ming hasn't thanked her for her help. Ming tells us that the fox is a loyal friend of his, and he's always been there to help Ming. He's even been using human skin to transform himself into a human being, which Ming has never seen before. Ming asks if there's a violet mist in the area, and Ming guesses that it's there to protect Ming.
