It's raining again, and this time it's in the south, which means it won't get any better any time soon. The rain stops, and the girls go outside to mop up the mess. The girls are impressed by the loom, but they're still not very good at it. One of the girls' older sisters is a little faster than the other, and she's also a little better at weaving than the younger girl. The younger girl wonders why the older girl is hurrying to finish the project, and why she wants to show it off to her family as soon as possible. The older girl says she hopes they'll enjoy it, too, because it'll give them a little secret to keep.
