He asks if they're close to each other, and if they like each other at all. Um, that's not a good idea. He says he'll tell her if she likes men or women, and then he asks if she has a crush on a colleague named Lu, who is playing tennis with a guy named Yu-Chi. He doesn't say anything, but he does say that he admires the guy, and that he'd like to break the guy's heart if he had to. He then asks if the other student, rong, wants to join them, and rong says no, but that he has to wash dishes at his house, so he can't ask his uncle for food. He tells rong to remind his uncle that unless something is wrong with him, he should not drive a car like a "rocket" .
