The next morning, Jack wakes up and tells his father that he's been poisoned. He's not sure what happened, but he does know that the nunes gave him a bunch of needles. Jack tells him to get away from him, because he poisoned him. Jack asks if he can eat yet, and Jack says that he can't. He also tells Jack that he saw him with melissa in the hallway the night before. Jack is confused. He doesn't know what's going on. He tells Jack to shut up, because she's trying to take him to another room. Jack says he'll tell you more later. He asks if there's anything else he can tell her, and she says that she'd like to talk to him about it. Jack apologizes for not seeing him for eight years, and says he has already forgiven him for the past eight years. Jack thanks him for sticking around, and he asks if Jack will remember to call him if anything happens to him in the future. He says that Jack will probably fall asleep. Jack shakes his head and says that it's time to say goodbye.
