The narrator tells us that he's been in love with Remy for seven years now. He's 17 years old, and they've been together since he was a kid. He says that after Colin took over, the school has become hostile to him. He tells the narrator to take Colin to the "game room" , where he'll be punished for his bad behavior. The narrator says that if Colin gets caught, he won't be able to get away with it for long. He also says that his grandfather is a dog, and that if he continues to do well in school, it will be hard to get into college. Remy says that she's going to wash her hair so that Colin doesn't notice how much she loves him. She says that he tried to run away to avoid him, but that he didn't like the idea of her losing her hair in the future, so he just kept trying to make her fall in love. He monopolized her love for seven more years.
