In this chapter, we learn that the princess is in danger of being forced to marry a man she does not want to marry. The princess is also in danger because she has fallen in love with a man who is not her husband. The two of them discuss the possibility of the princess marrying someone else, and the princess asks the man if he would like to marry her. The man says that he would, but that he is afraid of asking the princess too much of a question and being too cowardly to refuse her request.
