In this short scene, we learn that the Princess is in distress because she has to play the part of a damsel in distress at a ball. The Prince and the Prince's posse come over to help her, but she is too upset to let them help her. She tells them that the ball is a pain in the ass, and that if she doesn't go, the King will kill her. They invite her brother, who is also a debutante, to be her escort, and she accepts. She asks the Prince to knock on her brother's door, and he does so.
