In celebration of his 13th birthday, Huck gives a gift to the princess: a bulldog. He tells her that the bulldog is "almost extinguishing" and that she should be careful with it. He also warns her not to mess with the bulldog because he likes her so much. Huck also tells her to be careful of the king because he looks "scarcely scary" .
