The duckling and the yanase are sitting in class, and the duckling says that he's going to be the "ugly duckling" . He's proud of his little girls, but he feels like they're different because of their teacher, mahiru. He apologizes for having so many skirts, and says that they'll all be fine. He thanks him for helping him pick them up, and he says that the other duckling is cool, too. He says he'll be okay, though, because the fight won't be as bad as he thinks it will be. The two duckling talk about their middle school days, and they talk about the girl they used to hang out with. The girl they hung out with turned out to be a swan , and duck says that's what she looks like. He asks the girl if she has a twin sister, and she says that she does. The duck thinks that the girl is rude, but the girl doesn't know him, so he asks her to come along with him on his way home. He wants to shake her hand, but she's not wearing an umbrella, so duck says he can walk her home. They talk for a bit, and then duck says it's time to go home.
