A female demon runs away shrieking that it's time for the old beggar to return. The old beggar drops his walking stick, and the demon flees. The constable is hurt, and he can't figure out who stepped on him. The beggar drops the walking stick again, and this time the symbol is a human head. This is the same symbol that the beggar dropped on the pole, and that's why the constable is so upset. He's seen the symbol before, and it looks just like a human skull. The fog is coming, and there's a crime scene in the middle of the night.
