About This Chapter
Hi, I'm Hiro, and I just saw a girl running into the woods. It turns out that the girl ran away from her father, who's been a "shit father" to her since she was a baby. Hiro says that if a child ran away, it would be a bad idea to run into the wilds, because the woods are "intimidating enough" at night. He tells us that he and a deer accidentally hit a deer, and that the deer heard a "melodic tune" in the wind and ran away. Hiro thinks that maybe the deer kidnapped his daughter, but he's not sure. He goes to check on the deer and sees that it's gone. He returns to his car to ask if the girl heard the deer's tune too, but she wasn't there. He's so confused that he can't even believe that his daughter ran away with him. He says that a deer doesn't kidnap children, and then he sees something behind him that looks like a goat's head and a hairy black body. It's probably a bear, he says,
