While searching for the missing cow, Jim finds the body of the cow, missing eyes, and "girly parts" . He realizes that no wild animal could have pulled the guts from the cow's body. Jim and his son are out looking for the cow when they find tracks on a nearby hill. They hope to find the cow before sundown.
