In this chapter, we learn that the princess is in love with the local tour guide, Captain daphe. The two of them go off to have a little chat, and the captain asks the young man where he's from. The young man tells him that he was orphaned when he was a slum kid. The princess took him in and gave him his first name, Sinyi. Sinyi gave him a second chance at life, and so he has sworn to protect the princess to his last breath. The captain tells the two that they're having a good time, but that they need to stop being so serious. He also tells them that the man who gave him the martial arts once showed up, gave him some basic equipment, and taught him how to use it properly. Sinyt says that's a waste of time. He wants to take a picture with the princess, but he can't breathe.
