About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a description of the "black magic worship room" in which prana, the village's founder, has been imprisoned for the past five years. The chief and his son are in dire need of prana's help, and they are unable to find him. They ask the demit to bring them to their parents, but he refuses, saying that prana is too sick to help them. He tells the chief that he is not sure when prana will come, but that it is not for him that he would ask for the help of a demit. He says that if it were not for Jackson, he would not bother asking for pranas help. prana was the first person to open the forest and turn the village into a prosperous and populated village, but it has been around five years since they last saw each other. Now they do not know where prana has gone, and he is unable to be contacted through the tomb of the other demits. He will guide them to his tomb.
