In this short scene, we learn that King Ratri is the master of the key, and that he is the one who is responsible for all of the evil in the world. Ratri tells King that if he were dead, he would be gone. He tells Ratri that he has come to talk to him, and to get him back to the real world, so that he can have a true heart-to-heart with his daughter. He says that he just wants to weaken her madness so that she will be able to love him more. He thanks Ratri for coming, and says that now that she has gone to heaven, she knows that he still cares for her. He promises to stay with Ratri, and promises that if Ratri feels deeply sorry for what he has done, and wishes to end his life, he can call out to him.
