This is a locked chapterChapter 13: Watu Atma and Childhood Memories
About This Chapter
Ratri tells his mom that he's ready to fight for the truth. He's been working hard to get his memories back, and now he wants to go back to his grandfather's house. Ratri asks his grandfather if the promised day of heaven has arrived, and his grandpa assures him that it's already here. He tells Ratri that the world is full of evil people, and that he and his grandfather are the only ones who'll be able to rid it of them. He asks Ratri if he got any good memories, and Ratri admits that he doesn't know. He says that every time he visits his grandpa's mind palace, something seems wrong, and then he gets scared. He wonders if there's something wrong with him that makes him scared, but his grandpa tells him that he has a lot of bad memories, too, and he'll have to sell them at a higher price to get them back. He also says that, lately, a bunch of bad demits have come to his mind palace to get their memories back. This is why, he says, he sells them to humans for a lower price, since they're more interested in jewelry and gems than in getting their memories. He adds that, as long as people love jewelry and jewels, his watu-atma will always be a buyer for his stuff. He leaves, and ratri asks him where they'll go next. He wants to become a "key master" in a safe town.
