In this short scene, Ming's mother comes to the rescue of her son, who has fallen ill with a cold. She begs Ming to return the medicine that he took from her, but Ming refuses, saying that he has not seen her for a few days. He then tells his mother that he saw her in the lift and that she wants him to give her the medicine. The mother, however, is not willing to listen to her son's story, and so she leaves.
