In this chapter, the sheriff of the town of Los Angeles tells his men that the lizard King has ordered them to rob towns all over the country. The sheriff tells them that the lizards have been able to communicate with humans for thousands of years, and that they will soon be able to do the same with humans. The men agree to follow the lizard king's orders and rob towns.
