Back at his boarding house, daVinci tells his mom and dad that he's in love with Jane and wants to marry her. He's worried that they're playing games with him, but his mom assures him that Jane is a good girl who's always been there for him late at night. He says he'll leave the boarding house and head back to his parents' house. He tells them that he can't stay there any longer because they've made him feel like a second-class citizen. He wants to apologize to both of them for being so nice to Jane, and says that they won't meet him until he apologizes to Jane. They're going to meet again after that.
