The next day, a young man named davin comes to visit Jane at her boarding house. He asks her to show him around her house so that he can check out her movies on her laptop. When she says that she doesn't have time to do so, he asks her why she didn't tell him that she would be visiting. She tells him that her friend, Dave, is a "simple friend" and that she does not approve of his relationship with her. She says that this is her last year of stand-up comedy.
