So she invites him over to her room and gives him a present: a doll that she made to think of. The doll looks exactly like the one she gave him. The birthday present is a cake that the doll made for her. The two of them sit down to have a chat, and then the narrator tells the story of how they got into the habit of dating. He says that they had common interests, but one day, he thought he was good to date, and he was so nervous that he didn't even want to go out with her. They started dating, and when they got rejected, everyone thought that it was because he changed his style for her, not because she changed her style for him.
