The Distance Between Us

In this short scene, Milady and her friend, Minhas, are talking in Milady's apartment. Milady is upset that she has not been able to sleep the night before because of a cold, and Minhas is upset because he caught a cold from the rain the day before. He asks Milady if she is okay, and Milady tells him that she is. She asks him if he has a fever, and he tells her that it is not, and she tells him it was because of the dust from the storm yesterday. He then asks her if she has been participating in athletics with balls. She says that everyone wanted her to join the team, but she is not good at sports, so she has to participate in balls. He says that men can get sick from getting rained on, and that he will look forward to participating in the upcoming athletic meet. He goes to the pharmacy to get coffee, and when he arrives, he is surprised to find that he has become very close to Minhas. He wonders if he is hiding something, and wonders if the red-haired guy likes him, and if minam is interested in him. He also wonders if they are both going to the sports meet, and asks if he can help him finish his assignments before the meet. When he hears this, he realizes that he is going to increase Minhas's chances of liking him, because he will be able to help him when he is sick.
