In this chapter, we learn that the distance between the two characters is so great that they will not be able to complete the story by the deadline set for them by the professor. They will have to work together on the story every night during the week, which will give them more time to flirt. The narrator suggests that they eat ramen at his place and discuss the details of the story while working together. He also suggests that the narrator show the background first so that he can better observe the conversation between Minam and Sunbae. He then suggests that he will naturally join in the conversation, but he is unable to do so because he does not know a great deal about directing. He promises to bring more tissues and make a date with Minam.
