About This Chapter
Now that he's free to say that he wants to leave, the prince is happy. He's also happy that he has someone to share his happiness with. He wants to gather flowers to make plum blossom wine, so he can make it himself. He asks the prince to help him write the recipe for the wine, but the prince doesn't want to bother him. He tells the prince that he hasn't written anything at all, and that he was just looking at him all the time. The prince tells him to check out the report of his harvest, and the prince apologizes for interrupting. He says he'll make a chestnut pastry for her, and then he can take a look at the lake salt that Lingyan brought with her. Lingyan is stealing a bite of the salted chestnuts, so the prince asks her to come back with him and eat with him instead. He also tells her to stay away from his biyuan.
