Kilala and her servants thank her for her kindness, and she tells them that she will soon have to leave for the "next world" . She tells them to move sylphy with them so that she can prepare for her wedding to Roxane. Kilala says that she doesn't believe in war, only peace, and that the people in Kilala's country are "dead" because they've been living in peace for so long. She asks Kilala to hurry back to her country, and Kilala agrees, saying that they'll find the gate to the country as soon as they find it. He tells Kilala that he's worried that she'll be brainwashed, but Kilala assures him that she won't be, because she loves Roxane so much that she wouldn't want Roxane to be taken from her already. He says that they should wait until he finds the gate, and then they can leave. He also tells her that he once heard a rumor about the "last hope" , but that he still isn't convinced that it's true. He's going to try to do whatever he can to get Roxane back.
