The two young lovers arrive at the castle, where they find that the master of the castle is ill-tempered. They ask the young lovers to stay away from the castle lest the master discover they are there. The young lovers, however, do not want the master to know that they are in the castle. They also want to know if the painting in the hallway is by a famous artist, and if the master has already apologized for the teacup incident. The narrator tells them that the magazine serialization of the fourth volume will be moved to a special-release publication, "nakayoshi lovely," about the time the fifth volume will go to the printer. He tells the young men that they should not get too upset about what has happened, as the beast will not get angry now that he knows that he is in love with the beautiful girl.
