Back at Dr. Xu's laboratory, we learn that the two bodies of Yunjin are actually the same person, and that they were part of the same genetic experiment. We learn that this is the first time we've seen a female survivor of a human experimentation, and we're also introduced to a new character named "xiaojun" . She's the nurse from the previous chapter, and she explains that she was the one who locked the two women in the room. She also explains that they cured her with a blood-selenite--the same thing that caused the monster to scratch her in the first place--and that she's been back to normal ever since. We also learn that "yan jin" came across some genetic engineering files in her professor's office, which she found out about in the course of her research.
