The monster explains that the factory is actually a laboratory, just like the one you saw in the previous chapter. It's called military factory 079, and it's where your parents were working on a new strain of smallpox. Just as they were about to complete their research, a mistake was made, and the new strain got out. The rest of the staff got infected, and nearly all of them were killed, including your parents, who were senior scientists at the factory. You're not alone, says the monster, because the other staff members also got infected.
