Tommo and the other vampire hunters approach the teacher and ask him if he's a vampire. Tommo says he isn't, and they're going to release him once they've confirmed that he is. They're not sure if the teacher is a vampire or not, but Tommo's pretty sure he is, and he'd like to kill him. The teacher is horrified, and Tommo is even more horrified. He's sure that if he dies, it's going to be proof that he was a vampire, and that's bad enough, but he doesn't know what to do with himself. He wants to kill the teacher, and kill her too, but then he thinks about how important it is to him to have arika back.
