The narrator introduces us to a new character named Senior. He's a senior at a company called Sungshin, which is an affiliate of the family that owns the company where the narrator works. Senior and his friend, Sihyun, have just had an interview for an assignment. Sihyun is very good at everything, and everyone thinks he is gloomy and scary, but he is a good friend, kind, and considerate. The narrator tells Senior that he still likes Senior, but that he's no longer excited about the idea of falling in love with someone else. He says he'll contact Senior soon.
