About This Chapter
The narrator wakes up in an infirmary. His head hurts, and he's tired and doesn't want to listen to the nonsense about his brother. He tells the teacher to go about his work. He says that wherever he goes, people are comparing him to his brother, and that's annoying. The teacher tells him to chill out, and she gives him a wet towel and some medicine. She tells him that if he has a good night's sleep, he'll feel better. He coughs and spills the medicine all over the floor. She gives him medicine to cough and cough again. She says that whenever she eats something sweet, she always looks for candy. She then says that the people around her are comparing her to her brother, but it's not that important to her. It's just that they're looking for something to talk about. The narrator says that if she had known her brother before he did, things would have been different. It was a "strong first love," he says, one where his brother stole the opportunity for him to dream about. He gives the teacher a random piece of paper and says that he probably still likes his brother and that he still likes him.
