Seguchi asks to see how he's doing. He's bummed that he didn't make it to the grand prix, but he doesn't want to tell his teacher about it. Seguchi tells his teacher that he wants to know what's going on with the big competitions in Japan. He asks if he and his partner will be available the next week to perform in the semifinals. The teacher tells him that he'll have to wait until the following week to see if they're available. He also tells Seguchi that he can't wait to tell him about the competitions since he knows how everyone is obsessed with their own dances. He says he'd like to know if he called his partner during the competition and if he was happy with the way he danced. He then asks about the tango, and Seguchi says that he feels sick talking about it because he feels like everyone else is doing the same thing. He wonders if people are getting the feeling that he was doing the tango because he was so nervous, and he wonders if they were just talking about the fact that he had four partners. He thinks that's why he was nervous, because he felt like he was losing confidence in his own dance. He wants to get back to dancing with his partner.
