The second young master warns Lin that he can use strange tricks, but Lin is too scared to do so. He tells her to remember that there are times in life when you have to bow down to the power of the state. If she dares resist, the state will punish her. The second master also tells Lin not to hurt his wife. Lin begs her to wake up, but she tells him to hurry and not to die. She tells him that her life was like other people's, that she went to school and graduated university, and then plunged herself into work. She lost her job quickly following that was heartbreak. She says that she was already trying her hardest to adapt, but that she could only live "like a dog obediently wagging her tail". Lin notices that the client has requested an extra boyfriend, and she tells the host that she can't play along with him. The host tells her that he's dedicated to his job, but then she cries herself unconscious. Lin says that this job was too easy, and that there is hope that she will get the antidote.
