The boys are waiting for their javelins to be put away. They're not sure where they're supposed to be , so they run off to catch a glimpse of the girl they've been waiting for. When they get there, they find that she's already won a basketball game, so the boys have no choice but to give up on their hopes of winning the game. They cheer the girls on, but they can't bring themselves to cheer for the boy who's just lost his first game of the season. The boys try to cheer him up, but he's too upset to do so. He tells them that he'll hold the girl down, and he can punch her if he needs to. He wants to join the boys' team, but first he wants to cheer them on.
