This chapter opens with a conversation between a young waitress and her boss. The young waitress apologizes to her boss for taking too many days off to care for her sick sister. The boss tells her that she's already been fired, but the young waitress begs to be given another chance. She tells the boss that she can't afford not to take the job, and the boss promises to give her another chance if she takes the job. The waitress tells her boss that if she still wants the job she can chase the man away or she'll fire her. She says that the young girl will do anything to help her little sister, and that the girl will beat the kid who bullies her if he tries to bully her again. The girl says that this young man is actually handsome, and she tells him to "try being an as-hole" and "bang ah" to try bullying his girl again. She then tells the girl to be her mistress and take care of the young men at the restaurant.
