This chapter begins with a flashback to a conversation between the Governess and Manaka. The Governess asks Manaka why he has a picture of her with a woman's chest on it. Manaka replies that he doesn't know the woman in the picture, but he does know that she is a model. He says that he saw her cleavage during a recent photo shoot and that it was nothing intentional, but that he does not think it is appropriate to say such things to anyone. He wonders why he is easy to talk about gloomy things to people like him. He asks if he is a little like aya, and she says that she looks the same way. She says that her eyesight is bad, and that her school life might have its end. She asks him if he has any date spots, and he says he has never gone on one before. He then asks her if she would like to go on a date with a future boyfriend. She replies that she would, and then asks why she is imagining a place where she would go with her future boyfriend
