The next morning, the narrator wakes up in the middle of the night to find himself naked in the lobby of a bar. He's not sure what happened, but he's pretty sure that it was a "forget accident" . The narrator tells us that he is in love with Ogata, even though he doesn't know how to express it. He wants to tell her how he feels about her, but can't because he was working as a "facilitator during recreation" , meaning that he wasn't allowed to do anything but hang out with the other guys during the day. Now, he says, he just wants to go back to Tokyo alone. He asks the bartender to give him a drink, but the bartender won't let him. He tells the narrator to go to sleep, and the narrator goes to bed.
