About This Chapter
El nanao asks the publisher to send him a message about the document. He wants to know why the chief always acts so cold to him. El nanimo says that he always acts like a normal guy around ogata. He says that if he could figure out why, he wouldn't have this problem. He tells the publisher that he's always nervous around people, and that the more nervous he gets, the more he likes them. He asks if the people around him are in school, and the narrator says that they are. He goes on to say that he likes ogata, but that he doesn't like the way he acts around people. The narrator says he'd rather be alone, because he never thought of ogata as a kind man. He thanks the publisher for being there for him, and he says that his voice would start shaking if he tried to talk to him, but being near him makes him feel safe. If he needs anything, he says, he'll be there.
