This chapter's epigraph comes from a famous Greek poet, Cymbeline, who wrote a poem in which she laments the fact that she has been unfaithful to her husband. She says that her husband's unfaithfulness has caused her great pain and sorrow, and that she cannot forgive him if he does not make an atonement for his sins
