The next morning, Tommo wakes up in the middle of the night to find that he's fallen asleep. He's worried about what he'll do if he falls, but he doesn't know what to do. He tells his friend, Tomomi, that he injured his right shoulder in college and that he has to take care of it. He also tells her that he used to love to paint, but that he stopped doing so because of the injury. He asks her if she's ever worn clothes like that before, and she says that she has. She tells him that she'll teach him how to wear them at home, too.
