The narrator tells us that he and Akazu have decided to go on a family trip together. They've never been on such a big trip before, so they're excited to see each other. The narrator says that he's going to knock on the door of the old man who scouted him out of high school. The old man is a member of the university's science club, and he tells the narrator that they've heard about him making lots of medicines. He also tells him that when he graduates from high school, he should come to the university and join their team.
