Mr.reaper explains that they're supposed to only take souls after the person's son has died. They're not supposed to take souls from people who've been dead for a long time. So, for example, if Hirokazu is dead, she'll be able to re-enter her body and receive her soul. But if she's alive, she can choose to die or she can be revived until her body stops working. So if they let her go, she could be a threat to the reapers and the sorcerers. So they've got to figure out a way to get rid of her, pronto. They can't do that, of course, because she'd be a huge threat to them both. Mr.reamer is all, "Gee, I don't want to live with a girl who's going to use magic to kill me" . He's not going to let that happen, either, because he's too busy to help. He says he brought her a drink and a boxed lunch so she wouldn't have to use her magic to destroy his bond with her. He also says he'll have to carry a "high level talisman" on him to protect himself from the evil that's about to attack him.
