The scene opens with the sound of a woman's voice. It's Jenny, and she's in her room with her aunt. The narrator asks Jenny if she likes the sound because she keeps on watching the two of them together. Jenny says she does, and the narrator asks if she'd like to know why. He asks if Jenny likes it because he keeps watching her and her aunt together. She says she doesn't know, and he asks if it's because he's watching them together, too. He says he'll be back soon, and they're going to have a drink together. He's surprised that they've known each other a long time, and Jenny says they must have known one another on the way to the party. Jenny asks Jenny to go inside and get some sleep, but she says she can't sleep because she'll have to wake up her aunt, who's going to be jealous. She asks Jenny what she should do if her aunt wakes up, and when she says he should, she asks him to kiss her. He
