About This Chapter
This chapter opens in a diner in the middle of a rainstorm. The owner of the diner is trying to clean up after the storm. He's got a lot of work to do, but he's also got to get the place ready for the arrival of the new owner. He asks one of his employees to come in and help him clean up. The employee, named "Swish," is a little nervous because he heard the sound of the storm coming from the next-door neighbor's house. He tries to calm him down by saying that it's just a matter of time before someone comes to the diner and they have to clean it up.
