This chapter opens with a conversation between Hiroshi and Akishima, who have just started working together at the same company. Hiroshi is a sales guy, but he's also in love with Akashima's sister, who works in the office as a designer. They're both excited to get married, but they're not sure if the marriage will work out. Aki's worried that he'll be left behind at the wedding, but Hiroshi assures him that it'll all be fine. He's not sure why, but it's probably because he is the eldest sister of three siblings, which means that he takes care of a lot of things. He says that he doesn't want to be a burden to his family, but that he wants to be his own person. He tells his sister that he loves her, and that they get along just like cats and dogs. He asks her if she's serious, and she says that she is. She tells him that she loves him, too, and they've gotten along just the same way. She asks him if he'd like to have a romantic relationship outside of work hours, and he says that it would be okay if they did.
