In this chapter, we learn that Hirokazu has heard that a woman lives in his town, and that she is gossiping about the town's residents. Hiroko, however, has not heard of the woman's existence. He tells us that he has been living in his small town with 15 other men, and they have been living together ever since they got their own jobs. But now, he tells us, he is beginning to worry that his old friend has died or something. He asks Hiroko not to try to hug him, because he has not seen him since the day he left the apartment. He says that he hurt him enough that he decided to return to haunt him. If he stayed single, he rumble would be interred here. He knows that he won't just be by coming here. To think that he even got involved, he was an idiot, so that he could not hurt anyone else
